ITEC Certificate for Skincare and Eye treatments (Beauty Specialists) Level 2 (NFQ Level 4) €1300
The main aim of the ITEC Level 2 Certificate for Beauty Specialists is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide facial skincare and eye treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the beauty therapy industry. This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and over and is the ideal starting point for anyone looking to specialize in skincare or eye treatments and move into the world of advanced skincare or aesthetic treatments.
The main skills the learner will perform are:
Care of the skin – to include cleansing, skin analysis, pre-heat treatments, exfoliation, facial
massage and the use of face masks
Care of the eyebrows and eyelashes –to include shaping and lash and brow tinting, threading, lash lifting and advanced brow shaping
The learner will also develop knowledge about related health and safety and client care and communication which is essential to work and be successful in the beauty industry
Exam fees are not included. Basic skin and eye kit included
