Joanne Quinn-Geoghegan
Joanne oversees all operations of the Beautorium group including Beautorium Training Academy. Her expertise extends to diverse services such as administrative duties, business consultancy, guest speaking, therapy sessions, and business mentoring. Joanne is also involved in Social Media, freelance Internal Quality Assurance (IQA), and serves as a regular contributor to industry magazines.
Joanne's journey in the beauty industry began in 2004 when she qualified after completing her ITEC, CIBTAC, and CIDESCO Beauty, Body, and Complementary Therapy Training at Waterford College of Further Education. With over 20 years of hands-on experience as a therapist, makeup artist (MUA), and educator at different levels, Joanne brings a wealth of knowledge to her roles.
Her commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends is evident through her extensive qualifications. Joanne remains deeply immersed in the beauty industry, constantly upskilling to stay abreast of the latest trends. This dedication not only influences the services offered at Beautorium but also shapes her teaching approach, ensuring that students and staff receive training in the most current industry skills and trends.
Joanne's proficiency extends beyond the boundaries of the beauty industry. Her qualifications span leadership, operational management, business and people management, as well as business development, covering supervisory management, team building, digital media, mental health awareness, and marketing techniques. By consistently enrolling in various courses, Joanne continually broadens her skill set, ensuring a comprehensive and contemporary approach in her diverse roles.
Recognized as a tutor for QQI, ITEC, CIBTAC, VCTC, and CIDESCO international awarding bodies, Joanne has played a pioneering role in Ireland's beauty education landscape. She was among the first ITEC tutors in the country to develop, deliver, and coordinate the ITEC Education and Training Diploma. Joanne extends her expertise by providing mentoring to industry professionals on various beauty-related topics and delivering courses in specialized business development, digital media, and team building.
Joanne's impressive work history includes collaboration with top makeup artists like Ken Boylan and Julie Caulfield, contributing to Miss Ireland 2016 Niamh Kennedy's look, and partnering with leading hairdressers in Waterford for diverse Fashion and Charity events. Her bridal work in picturesque locations like Waterford Castle, Faithlegg, and the Haven Hotel is a testament to her versatility.
A key figure in establishing and growing two major private academies in the South East, Joanne launched her own training center in 2020. She has led workshops at UHW and online for the "Look Good Feel Better" program, teaching makeup techniques to women recovering from cancer.
Since 2010, Joanne has been teaching all aspects of beauty and currently works part-time as a Beauty Body and MUA and Nutrition Teacher at Waterford College of Further Education while overseeing all aspects of Beautorium. She proudly represents top industry brands and holds titles such as Dermalogica expert, South East's first Pro and Master HD Brows Stylist, Official CCbrows by Lucas Cosmetics Henna Brows instructor, Via professional Lash Lift and Brow Lamination educator, SQT Ireland Bio microneedling instructor and an official Bperfect Spray Tan trainer. Joanne collaborates with various brands and offers her own affiliated courses, masterclasses, and mentoring sessions.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Joanne was honored with the "Lifestyle Leader - Beauty Industry" award in 2020 by the All Ireland Business Foundation Business All Stars. Her unparalleled passion and drive for the industry are reflected in the ethos of the Academy, where exceptional training, support, and continuous development are paramount.
Andrea Kehoe
Andrea Kehoe embarked on her beauty journey in 2012, earning prestigious qualifications from WCFE, including ITEC, CIBTAC, and CIDESCO certifications in beauty, body, and holistic therapies. Her dedication to excellence quickly set her apart, and in 2015, Andrea was honored as the Irish Beauty Therapist of the Year. She proudly represented Ireland at the WorldSkills Competition in Brazil, where she earned a Medallion of Excellence.
Andrea's passion for beauty and skincare led her to Australia, where she spent four years honing her skills in luxury 5-star spas, laser, and skin clinics. Her commitment to continuous learning saw her further specialize in skincare and advanced skin treatments, culminating in her role at a leading skin clinic in Sydney.
Returning to Ireland, Andrea pursued her passion for education, completing an ITEC Education and Training qualification. She then spent four years working with Ireland’s No. 1 medical clinic, where she gained invaluable experience in the medical side of the beauty industry.
Today, Andrea brings her wealth of knowledge and global experience to the classroom, inspiring the next generation of beauty professionals with her expertise and dedication to the craft.
Sammy Stacey
Sammy is one of our Beauty and MUA tutors at Beautorium Training Academy, bringing an impressive 18 years of industry experience to our team. She initially qualified in ITEC/CIBTAC Beauty Diplomas and Fashion & Photographic Makeup at The Beauty Institute in Waterford.
Since her qualification, Sammy has consistently pursued professional development, expanding her expertise in various treatments, including Gel/Acrylic Nails, spray tan, advanced waxing, lash lift, Russian manicure, Phi Brows (microblading), and more.
With a diverse background that spans working in different areas of the beauty sector, Sammy eventually established herself as a self-employed therapist and MUA. Her journey led her to complete the ITEC Education and Training Qualification, marking her entrance into the Education Sector. Sammy's social media prowess is evident, as she actively engages in public relations for brands. This knowledge is generously shared with her students, guiding them on how to effectively present themselves and their accounts online.
Sammy is not only an exceptional therapist but also a dedicated educator. Her meticulous attention to detail sets her apart, ensuring that students are in capable hands. Sammy has earned a stellar reputation, garnering nominations for numerous awards, reflecting her passion and expertise in everything beauty-related.
Lorna Melay
Meet Lorna Melay, an acclaimed Beauty Educator & Skin Specialist with an extensive 15-year track record in the Beauty Industry. With over 5 years dedicated to education, she has successfully delivered a range of courses, including ITEC accredited Skin, Make-up & Beauty Specialist programs. Lorna's career has been multifaceted, encompassing roles such as managing make-up counters, overseeing salons, and holding key positions like National Skin Analyst for Environ Skincare and Skin Consultant for The Skin Nerd.
In addition to her Beauty Industry expertise, Lorna is a Reiki Master and a Mindfulness & Meditation Teacher. Within her personal salon, she provides specialized Beauty & Skin treatments, always infusing a holistic approach into each session.
Lorna's enthusiasm extends to guiding students through their journeys in the industry. She passionately encourages them to tap into their own abilities, fostering skills to keenly observe and listen to both their own skin and that of their clients. Her ultimate goal is to instill the knowledge and confidence needed to heal, treat, and restore at a profound and holistic level.

Anna Prusak
Anna stands as one of our esteemed Holistic and Complementary Therapy and Beauty Therapy Tutors, boasting over 9 years of industry experience since her qualification from Waterford College of Further Education.
Anna's extensive qualifications include ITEC, CIBTAC, and CIDESCO diplomas in Beauty and Body Therapy, Facial Electrical Treatments, Film & Theatrical Make-Up, Microdermabrasion, Laser, IPL, and an array of Holistic Therapies. Her holistic expertise spans Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Holistic Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage, On-Site Massage, and Lymphatic Drainage Massage.
A seasoned Beauty and Spa Therapist, Anna seamlessly transitioned into the role of an educator. Her passion for teaching drove her to successfully complete an ITEC Diploma in Education and Training. Anna is deeply committed to continuous development and upskilling, a commitment she eagerly shares with her students.
In her pursuit of excellence, Anna recently added an ITEC Diploma in Sports Massage to her already impressive list of qualifications. As a true perfectionist, she ensures that her dedication is reflected in every aspect of her work, including the meticulous refinement of her students' skills and knowledge to the highest standards.
Bille Jean Bell
Billie Jean's passion for nails began in 2014 when she completed her first manicure and pedicure course in Dublin. Eager to expand her skills, she went on to earn her ITEC Nail Technology Diploma, delivered by our very own head tutor Joanne Quinn Geoghegan in Waterford later that year.
After honing her craft for 2 years at a popular salon in Carlow, Billie Jean decided to embark on her own entrepreneurial journey, starting her own nail business in 2017. But her thirst for knowledge didn't stop there.
Over the years, Billie Jean has continuously sought out advanced training, completing refresher gel nail courses, exploring the latest nail art techniques, and staying ahead of industry trends. She's had the privilege of learning from highly experienced technicians across Europe, amassing a wealth of tips and tricks to share with her students.
Now, as a Nail Educator at at Beautorium Training Academy Billie Jean is dedicated to passing on her expertise to the next generation of nail artists. With boundless enthusiasm and a keen eye for detail, she guides her students through every step, empowering them to elevate their skills and reach new heights in their nail journeys.
Seana Roche
Seana is a proud graduate of Waterford College of Further Education, holding esteemed ITEC, CIBTAC, and CIDESCO qualifications in Beauty and Body Therapy. Since stepping into the industry post-college, Seana has displayed an unwavering passion for all things beauty. Her commitment to professional growth is evident through additional courses in Gel Nails, Shellac, Threading, Advanced Waxing, Microdermabrasion, brow lamination, lash lifts, HD Brows, and henna brows.
Dedicated to staying on the cutting edge, Seana furthered her studies by completing the ITEC Diploma in Education and Training. She firmly believes that continuous upskilling and staying abreast of trends are pivotal for success in the beauty industry—an ethos shared by Beautorium. Seana takes joy in imparting her extensive skills and knowledge to her students.
